I bought this kettlebell to do kettlebell swings with. The wide handle makes that easier because you use both hands for the kettlebell swing. Overall, it is exactly what I was hoping for. The grip is good and the kettlebell is solidly made.
It is a little smaller in size than I expected, but that just makes it less obtrusive and easier to store.
I didn't have access to a kettlebell prior to buying this one, so I wasn't sure what weight to get. 40 lbs is pretty heavy for kettlebell swings. I can do about 20, but it really gets my heart racing (I'm 6'4", 180 pounds, ectomorphic). I would have been happy with a 35 pound kettlebell as well, but I have no regrets. Check Special Price!
